meshscalePrivacy
meshscale is open-source software that runs on your own devices. Its maintainers operate no service that receives your data.
What stays on your device
When you sign in with Cloudflare, the OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored locally in a file readable only by your user (or by root for the system service). They are sent only to Cloudflare's API, to manage your own account.
What goes to Cloudflare
meshscale calls Cloudflare's API on your behalf, and your network traffic is carried by Cloudflare's official client. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers that processing.
What meshscale does not do
No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or tracking. meshscale bugreport writes a redacted archive to your disk and never uploads it.
